LIPSS Mission Statement

We are a grass roots organization dedicated to developing sculpture awareness throughout Long Island by expanding showspaces for sculptors, advocating for public art projects, developing alternative show sites, and making sure public art projects are executed by qualified artists. We have opened several venues to exhibit sculpture such as Touro College, The New South Huntington Library and Farmingdale State University. Our new frontier is to gain support from private and corporate business to help support sculpture through our new rental program allowing businesses to flex-rent sculpture with the option to buy.
